5 Signs the Detour Might Actually Be the Point

We spend a lot of time trying to get back on track.

But what if the track was never the point?

What if the thing you keep calling a detour is actually where your life started becoming yours?

1. The old plan still makes sense, but it no longer feels like you.Nothing has to be wrong for something to stop being right.

2. You keep being pulled toward things that were never part of the plan.Curiosity has a way of remembering what responsibility taught us to ignore.

3. The version of success you worked so hard to build feels strangely unfamiliar. You can be grateful for what you built and still recognize that you have changed.

4. The unexpected parts of your life keep teaching you more than the carefully planned ones.Sometimes the experiences we almost dismissed become the ones that explain everything.

5. You have stopped asking, “How do I get back?” and started asking, “Where could this take me?”

That question changes things.

Maybe the detour is not evidence that you lost your way.

Maybe it is evidence that you finally started paying attention.
