Why Was I Living in the Fire?

Being good at surviving chaos does not mean you have to keep living there. A reflection on the question that began Musings of a Recovering Executive.

An illustrated woman in a suit holds coffee calmly as an office burns around her. Text: Everyone admired how well I handled the fire. I started wondering why I lived in it. Musings of a Recovering Executive, Lynn Cirillo. All 6 books available on Amazon.

Everyone admired how well I handled the fire. Nobody asked why I was living in it, and for a long time, neither did I.

If you're the one everyone counts on in a crisis, I see you. Being good at surviving chaos doesn't mean you have to keep living there.

That question started my whole Musings of a Recovering Executive series, and all 6 books are out now.

Have you ever realized you were the calm one in a fire you didn't need to be in?
