You're Not Too Sensitive

A reflection on rebuilding self-trust after a difficult work experience, wherever you are in the process.

You're not too sensitive.

If a job in corporate America left you second-guessing your own memory, doubting your judgment, or wondering "is it me?", I want you to hear this: what you went through was real. Your feelings are valid, and you don't need anyone else's validation to trust your own experience.

That's true whether you're still in it, walked out last month, or retired years ago and are only now putting words to what happened.

And there's a way through. It often starts small: naming what happened, trusting what you remember, and rebuilding your confidence one step at a time.

What helped you start trusting yourself again after a hard work experience? You don't have to share details. I'd just love to hear what helped. 💛
